Questions and answers
Do I need to be home?
Yes. Someone needs to hand your pet to the groomer and be there to take them back. You do not need to stay outside; your groomer texts when your pet is done.
Do you need my water or power?
Most visits need nothing from you. If a van needs to connect to water or power, your groomer asks first.
How long does a groom take?
Most grooms take 75 to 105 minutes. Big doodles and heavily matted coats can take longer. With more than one pet, plan on about 90 minutes per pet.
How much does it cost?
Full grooms start at $135 and baths at $95, by size and coat. Prices include our booking fee. Each groomer sets their own prices; these are our standard prices, and your exact total shows before you book, with no travel fee inside our service area.
How do payment and tips work?
Nothing is charged when you request a time; we text you to confirm it, and you pay after the groom. Tips are optional, we ask after the groom with the photos, and 100% goes to your groomer.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes, for free up to 24 hours before your arrival window, from the link in your confirmation.
What if my dog is matted?
Your groomer texts you before doing anything that changes the price. Heavy mats close to the skin are usually shaved short, because brushing them out hurts.
What vaccines do you need?
Dogs need a current rabies vaccine. Tell us about any health issues when you book.
Do you groom aggressive or very nervous dogs?
We groom many nervous dogs, and mobile grooming is easier for them. Tell us about biting or past bad experiences when you book. If a pet is too stressed to finish safely, we stop and only charge for the work done.
Do you groom cats?
Yes: a cat bath and tidy ($120) or a lion cut ($140). Please have your cat in a carrier before your groomer arrives.
What if it rains?
We groom in the van, rain or shine. House calls happen inside your home.
Can the groomer come inside instead of using a van?
Yes. Choose a house call when you book. Your groomer brings their tools and uses your bathtub or a large sink, which suits pets who are nervous in vans and homes without curb parking.
Can I book the same groomer again?
Yes. Use the link in your confirmation or reminder to book again and tick "Ask for" your groomer. They get first pick of your visit; if they can't make that time, the next nearest groomer does it.
Can I book more than one pet?
Yes, up to three pets per visit, and each extra pet is $10 off.
