How it works for groomers

  1. Apply and screening

Send a few photos of your work and your van setup, answer some quick questions, then a short call.

  2. Set your base and days

Choose your base city, how far you drive and the days you want to work.

  3. Take jobs near you

When a groom is booked near you, it shows up in your dashboard with the pets, services and your price. The closest groomers see it first.

  4. Groom and get paid

Customer details, notes and the address are in your dashboard. Send photos when you finish; payment and tips are collected for you.

How the pay works

You set your prices and keep 100% of them, plus 100% of tips. Customers pay our booking fee on top. Move the sliders to see an example week at our standard prices.

Example math only. What you earn depends on the jobs you take; this is not a promise of work.

  • Your prices per week (100%)$0

What we look for

  • Professional grooming experience, with photos of your work.
  • For van jobs: your own equipped van or trailer (water, power, tub, table, dryer). For house calls: a portable kit (clippers, dryer, table or mat, towels).
  • Comfortable with doodles, double coats, seniors and nervous dogs.
  • Clear, friendly texting with customers.

A plus

  • Cats and hand scissoring.
  • Mandarin, Cantonese or Spanish.
  • Groomer liability insurance.

Groomer questions

Do I need my own van?

No. Groomers with a van or trailer take van jobs at the curb. Groomers without one take house calls: you bring your tools and groom inside the client's home. You choose which jobs you see, or both.

Can clients ask for me again?

Yes. When a client you groomed rebooks and asks for you, you get first pick of that visit for 12 hours before it goes to anyone else.

How am I paid?

You set your own prices: start from our standard list or go higher or lower. You keep 100% of your price on every groom you finish, plus 100% of tips. Customers pay our booking fee (20%, at least $15) on top; nothing comes out of your price. We go over the payout schedule during screening.

Do I have to take every job?

No. Jobs near you show up in your dashboard and you take the ones that fit your day.

Can I bring my own clients?

Yes. Share your personal link. You earn 10% of the groom price on every groom those clients book (paid from our fee), on top of your price when you groom them yourself.

Which areas?

The San Gabriel Valley, from Pasadena and La Cañada Flintridge to Diamond Bar and Rowland Heights. You set your base city and how far you drive.

Do I need insurance?

We ask about groomer liability insurance during screening.

What does screening look like?

A few photos of recent grooms and your van setup, some quick questions by text, then a short call.
